13th National Assembly of Pakistan: Annual Report 2009- 2010

This report is an analysis of the performance of the 13th National Assembly of Pakistan during its second parliamentary year (March 2009 to March 2010) – the last session, however, continued till April 2, 2010. During this period, nine regular sessions of the National Assembly and three joint sessions of the two houses of the Parliament were held. However, the report covers only the regular sessions of the National Assembly, also called the Lower House.

FAFEN Violence Monitor: Political and Electoral Violence in Pakistan (June 1, 2010 – August 15, 2010)

Between June 1 and August 15, 2010, the PEVER monitors recorded a total of 495 incidents of political violence and 11 incidents of electoral violence; PEVER also recorded 89 peace events in Pakistan. Out of these 595 reports, 566 were compiled through media monitoring and were not able to be verified by PEVER personnel, while 29 reports were compiled by constituency-based and election monitors, and were verified through primary sources.
