CORRECTION Four, Not Three, PML Legislators Participated in PCNS Debate

ISLAMABAD, April 15, 2012: In its press release “94% legislators stay away from PCNS debate” released on April 13, 2012, FAEN erroneously reported that only THREE legislators belonging to Pakistan Muslim League (PML) had participated in the debate on the recommendations of the Parliamentary Committee on National Security during the 12th Joint Session of the Parliament held between March 20, 2012 and April 12, 2012. However, a total of FOUR legislators belonging to PML had participated in the debate. These included: Senator Mushahid Hussain, Senator Saeedul Hassan Mandokhail , MNA Amir Muqam and MNA Riaz Pirzada. Although MNA Muqam has joined the PML-N, his membership in the Lower House continues to be with the PML (http://www.na.gov.pk/en/members_listing.php?party=8).

A total of FOUR legislators belonging to PML – TWO MNAs and TWO Senators  — raised Points of Orders during the joint sitting. However, these Points of Orders related to other critical and crucial issues in the country. The following table shows the sitting-wise details of the participation of PML members:
