Alipur, December 11, 2023: FAFEN’s Regional Network – Chenab Network facilitated a session on addressing the issue of minority women’s access to polling stations, held in Phulan Shareef Tehsil Alipur. The session aimed to raise awareness about the challenges faced by minority women in accessing polling stations. The participants engaged in a constructive dialogue, fostering a deeper understanding of the barriers hindering the active participation of minority women in electoral processes. The collaborative efforts of the Network demonstrate a commitment of FAFEN and its Regional Networks to addressing these issues and promoting a more inclusive democratic experience.
