ISLAMABAD: Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Zafar Iqbal Jhagra has summoned the session of the Provincial Assembly on August 13, 2018 (Monday) at 1000 hours.
According to the official notification issued on Thursday, the Governor will administer oath to the newly-elected members. The election and oath of Speaker and Deputy Speaker will also take place in the same session along with the election of the Chief Minister.
According to the sources in KP Assembly, Member Facilitation Desk has been established for the newly elected members to fulfill initial requirements of information provision, Issuance of Members Card & Vehicle Stickers, allotment of accommodation at MPA Hostel, opening of bank accounts in addition to other necessary requirements. This will facilitate Members in attending preliminary session of the Assembly.
Members may visit the desk at Jirga Hall (Old Hall) at the Provincial Assembly Secretariat which will remain functional till 2nd day of the Assembly sitting.
