Quetta, September 16, 2024: FAFEN’s Network for Democracy & Governance Initiative (NDGI) organized a one-day training session as part of the second round of capacity-building for its regional member organizations (RMOs) at the Quetta Press Club. The session was attended by 33 participants – 31 men and two women, representing 20 NDGI member organizations, with a focus on enhancing the skills and capacities of NDGI network partners.
The training covered a range of important topics, including management, research methodology, digital media usage, electoral governance and reforms, governance research, and promoting de-polarization among the youth. Participants also engaged in discussions on the challenges faced by civil society organizations and proposed solutions to improve the credibility and effectiveness of the network.
The event successfully met its objectives, with participants gaining a deeper understanding of key governance issues. They expressed a keen interest in future activities and offered recommendations for additional capacity-building programs, funding opportunities, and short-term projects to further strengthen the network.
