Rahim Yar Khan, September 18, 2024: FAFEN’s South Punjab Regional Network organized a one-day training session as part of the second round of capacity-building for its regional member organizations (RMOs) in Rahim Yar Khan. The session was attended by 16 participants – 15 men and one woman, representative member organizations from different districts including Rahim Yar Khan, Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar, Vehari, D.G. Khan, and Rajanpur. The training session was conducted with a focus on enhancing the skills and capacities of network partners.

The primary objectives of the training were to build the capacity of RMOs, focusing on research tools and advocacy, particularly in supporting FAFEN’s electoral reform initiatives. Additionally, the training emphasized planning effective advocacy sessions with key stakeholders. The importance of depolarization efforts was highlighted, along with the role of RMOs in organizing youth conventions and leveraging digital media for advocacy and outreach.
