South Punjab Regional Network (SPRN) Celebrates World Interfaith Harmony Week in Bahawalpur

Bahawalpur, February 2, 2025 – The South Punjab Regional Network (SPRN) of FAFEN is observing World Interfaith Harmony Week from February 1 to 7, 2025. This annual celebration aims to provide a platform for diverse interfaith groups and individuals to unite, promoting peace, mutual respect, and harmony. The week-long event emphasizes the importance of connecting communities through understanding, collaboration, and collective action.

In collaboration with the Great Pakistan Lovers Welfare Society, SPRN organized a dialogue on promoting interfaith harmony. The event saw active participation from representatives of various religious and ethnic communities, who shared their perspectives on the significance of religious coexistence. Participants highlighted that true harmony can only be achieved through sustained collaboration and dialogue among all faiths.

During the discussions, attendees unanimously pledged to strengthen the principles of peace within and across religious and ethnic communities. “Our goal is to celebrate and embrace the rich religious and spiritual diversity of Pakistan and we aim to promote interfaith understanding, harmony, and cooperation, fostering a culture of peace, human rights, and mutual respect”, said one participant.

The event highlighted the collective commitment to building bridges between communities, ensuring a more inclusive and harmonious society for future generations.
