Voter Awareness Sessions Held with Minorities

Islamabad, February 9, 2024: To ensure the effective participation of minorities on election day, before the general elections 2024, FAFEN’s Punjab Civil Society Network conducted voter awareness sessions with Minorities in Multan, Lodhran, and Khanewal in February 2024.

A total of 78 representatives of minority groups attended the events including 51 men and 27 women who were informed about the importance of vote and the process of voting.

As a result of the event, the students were fully aware of the importance of the voting process and understanding the election campaign. This helped the students become informed voters and effectively participate in elections.
