ISLAMABAD: President Mamnoon Hussain has summoned the session of the National Assembly on August 13, 2018 (Monday) at 1000 hours, said an official notification issued here on Friday.
It would be the first session of 15th National Assembly and newly-elected members will take oath while the election and oath of Speaker and Deputy Speaker will also take place in the same session along with the election of the Prime Minister.
Sources in National Assembly told that a Member Facilitation Desk has been established for the newly elected members to fulfill initial requirements of information provision, Issuance of Members Card & Vehicle Stickers, allotment of accommodation at Parliament Lodges, opening of bank accounts in addition to other necessary requirements. This will facilitate Members in attending preliminary session of the Assembly while the counters will remain open from 10 am to 5 pm.
