Islamabad, February 1, 2024: FAFEN’s Regional Network conducted district seminars on the ECP’s code of conduct for political parties and contesting candidates in Kasur and Narowal.  The contesting candidates from various political parties, party leadership, several civil society representatives, members bar association, and journalists participated in the seminars. The participants gave valuable feedback and suggestions, reflecting their insights and observations on the seminar and also appreciated the comprehensive overview of the ECP Code of Conduct and commended the interactive sessions for clarifying key concepts. As participants apply the knowledge gained from the seminar to their political activities, there is the potential for an overall improvement in electoral integrity. Fair and transparent practices, as outlined by the ECP, can lead to increased trust in the electoral process.
