Kashmore, December 10, 2023: Kainat Development Association under the banner of FAFEN’s Regional Network in Kashmore, Governance and Transparency Network (GTN), with support of FAFEN, conducted a community awareness session on “Women’s Access to Polling Stations”.  The session was organized as part of the activity for a voter education campaign.

The objective was to engage the local community members in an open dialogue, identify barriers hindering women’s participation in the electoral processes, and collaboratively develop strategies to enhance inclusivity and accessibility.

The session was attended by 40 participants including 35 women and five men from different walks of life who discussed the core issues that need immediate attention by the Election Commission of Pakistan.
