Gujar Khan, December 12, 2023: FAFEN’s Regional Network – All Potohar Regional Alliance in collaboration with the Sustainable Social Development Organization (SSDO) and DEEP Organization conducted a voter education session at Gujjar Khan.
The session was aimed at enhancing women turnout in the upcoming general election of 2024. The participants were sensitized about their roles and responsibilities as responsible citizens and told how enhancing women turnout in the upcoming elections will augur well.
Women’s role in the electoral process is to empower them in decision-making and addressing their socio-economic issues. Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) material on voter education was distributed among participants. The session was attended by 85 women from different walks of life.
