Women with disabilities face serious challenges in exercising their right to vote. FAFEN’s partner holds seminar to make a point.
Khairpur, December 12, 2023: FAFEN’s Regional Network – Civil Society Democratic Network organized a seminar in Tehsil Thar of district Khairpur.
The seminar was conducted on barriers to voting for women with disabilities.
The event witnessed active participation of 120 attendees, including government officials, District Officer – Social Welfare, social activists, representatives from different political parties, and representatives of civil society organizations.
The insightful discussions and diverse perspectives shared during the event aim to foster inclusivity and address challenges faced by women with disabilities in exercising their right to vote.
