Lahore, April 16, 2024: FAFEN’s Shah Hussain Regional Network, established in 2021, serves as a coalition of local organizations across Punjab, representing member organizations from Lahore, Gujranwala, Hafizabad, Nankana Sahib, Sheikhupura, Mandi Bahauddin, and Wazirabad. Committed to promoting inclusive participation in political and electoral processes, the network organizes various monthly activities.
The Shah Hussain Network releases a monthly newsletter, offering an overview of the activities conducted by network members during the month. The March 2024 edition presents a range of activities conducted to celebrate International Women’s Day throughout the month. These include five awareness-raising sessions, four seminars, two women’s NIC registration drives, and a cake-cutting ceremony held on March 8, 2024, to mark the occasion.
The seminars drew participation from 286 attendees, comprising 273 women and 13 men. These sessions were held across multiple locations, including Gujranwala, Nankana Sahib, Mandi Bahauddin, and Sheikhupura.
