As many as 77 (25 percent) Members of the National Assembly (MNAs) attended all sittings, whereas 46 (15 percent) did not attend any sitting during the 13th session of the National Assembly that spanned over six sittings between February 10 and 18, 2025. Among the cabinet members, the Minister of State Finance & Revenue had the highest attendance, participating in five sittings. How Many MNAs Attended 13th National Assembly Session? FAFEN Report

The Attendance Report Card by the Free and Fair Election Network (FAFEN) promotes transparency by tracking the participation of National Assembly members. Attendance reflects lawmakers' commitment to representing their constituents, engaging in policy debates, and ensuring government accountability. This report analyzes MNAs' attendance during the 11th session (January 13–23, 2025), highlighting trends across regions, political parties, and gender. The findings are based on official records from National Assembly proceedings. The current federal cabinet includes the Prime Minister and 18 Federal Ministers—12 from the National Assembly and six from the Senate. Senators in the cabinet typically attend Assembly sessions only when matters related to their ministries are on the agenda. Additionally, two MNAs serve as Ministers of State, while 30 Parliamentary Secretaries assist in various ministries. During question hour, only six out of 18 federal ministers and two ministers of state attended all sittings where their presence was expected, while five did not attend any. The rest were present for at least one sitting. In their absence, other cabinet members or parliamentary secretaries responded on their behalf. The federal minister for housing and works had the highest attendance, followed by the minister for industries and production and the state minister for IT, each with 89pc attendance.
