FAFEN’s Strategic Plan 2024-2030: National Council Gives Approves

FAFEN’s strategic plan 2024-2030 has three pillars including Network Strengthening, Program Strengthening, and Institutional Strengthening.

 

KARACHI, November 18, 2023: The third meeting of the National Council (NC) of the Free and Fair Election Network (FAFEN) was convened in Karachi to deliberate on the institutional strengthening of the network of networks.

Out of 20 NC members, 17 attended the meeting and approved FAFEN’s Strategic Plan 2024-2030, which was developed with technical support of Trust for Democratic Education and Accountability (TDEA). FAFEN’s strategic plan focuses on three key main pillars including Network Strengthening, Program Strengthening, and Institutional Strengthening.

Prior to the NC meeting, FAFEN’s Executive Council (EC) conducted a thorough review of the strategic plan. The EC members also appointed Mr. Rashid Chaudhry as its National Coordinator for the FAFEN Secretariat housed at TDEA. Furthermore, the National and Executive Councils also discussed the upcoming General Elections 2024 and FAFEN’s election observation strategy in the process.
