Today, to conclude the #𝟭𝟲𝗗𝗮𝘆𝘀𝗼𝗳𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗺 Against #𝗚𝗕𝗩 and commemorate #𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗛𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗥𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀𝗗𝗮𝘆, #𝗙𝗔𝗙𝗘𝗡 proudly hosted the Women in General Election (GE) 2024 Report Launch. This comprehensive report delves into women’s participation during GE-2024, analyzing their roles as voters and candidates. By shedding light on the factors influencing their turnout, representation, and performance, the report contributes to ongoing discussions on gender equality and inclusive democratic governance in Pakistan. The event featured an open forum discussion, where women parliamentarians and civil society representatives shared powerful insights on challenges, findings, and actionable recommendations for driving progress. Over the course of the #16DaysOfActivism, FAFEN spotlighted critical themes to raise awareness and encourage proactive measures against #GBV.
